These terms and conditions relate to all sales on the “website” and are correct at the date of writing. They may be updated at any time and the date will be posted.
We offer a gift voucher service as well as gift wrapping and sending at no extra cost. Please email us with your requirements.
Our prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and are reviewed periodically. The price shown on the website are current for the particular product at the time. Occasionally we may have made a mistake with the pricing of an item. If this is the case we will notify you and give you the chance to cancel your order or wish to continue with your order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to sell you goods at the incorrect price.
Occasionally items that you order via the “website” may not be available. If this is the case we will contact you promptly and offer you an exchange or a refund for that particular item.
A charge for postage will be made for all International orders. Each item that is placed in the basket will have a postal fee, starting from £1 so the price you pay is dependant on the amount of items in your basket. It is likely that the postage will be fairly high if ordering a large amount from us. If this is the case, please email us and we can arrange a postage credit. Please email us for more details. International orders are not sent via a trackable service. If you would like to add this option please email us for a postage quotation , the costs will rise considerably. We are currently offering free postage for all UK orders placed that total above £30.00. This is subject to change at anytime and new charges will be posted on the “website”.
We endeavour to deliver all orders within 3-4 working days, 5-6 working days for International orders (excluding weekends). Often your order will arrive before this time frame. Occasionally it will not be possible to deliver within this time frame. If your order is required urgently, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Your order will be delivered to the address provided by you at the point of order. If paying by paypal, please ensure that the address on your paypal account is correct. If it is not, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for orders that are sent to an incorrect address as provided by you.
Orders over £50 will generally be sent by Royal Mail Recorded delivery and therefore someone will be required to sign for the parcel. Orders for under this amount will be sent by Royal Mail standard delivery and we will obtain proof of postage. If for any reason your parcel gets lost, we will do our best to help you but cannot be held responsible for lost parcels. Please refer to the paragraph above for International order tracking.
The Hedgepig accepts payment from all major credit and debit cards, currently processed by paypal via the “website”.
We are in the process of updating the website to accept debit/credit card transactions directly and hope to have this up and running by July 2010.
When paying by card, you confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal.
We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.
If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so at anytime prior to despatch. Please contact us in the first instance so that we may discuss this with you.
From time to time we may display links to other websites that we think you may find of interest. We are in no way to be held responsible for the content that is displayed on any sites that we may link to. Your details will never be passed onto a 3rd party website except in the case of Win Green product orders and Arms Reach product orders. This is to ensure the correct delivery of your item(s).
You use the “website” at your sole risk. You agree that you will be personally responsible for your use of this “website” and for all of your communication and activity on this “website”.
No unauthorised copying or distribution of any part of the “website” is permitted.
